Form and substance seems to occupy my mind as the countries financial institutions fail and our political leaders react and respond in desperation. The marble hallways of Congress fill with bodies in suits running to and fro next to statues looking the other way. Shadow men in silk and polyester blends thinking of what is best for the future…but who’s future? Political parties maneuver for positions of safely, not wanting to be implicated by decisions that may go wrong. Presidential candidates zoom across the skies in metal tubes, making pixilated appearances across our TV sets, reassuring potential voters that their plan makes sense and the fault lies with the opponent and their party.

Waves and waves of discordant doubt emanate from the consciousness of the citizens, so much confusion that it is becoming visible to the naked eye, jangled lines of noose rope form containing energy made of anger toward money disappearing while those responsible are nowhere to be seen or heard, unless of course they are the same shadows in suits that are trying to cast their healing spell our way— this very moment.

Oh Venus, they too now stand naked, while I cast my eyes away, much like yours.
