Open Question: Have you ever noticed how weird it is to read a book that was written before the Internet hit the scene?

I'm mainly talking about non-fiction books.
It's almost like you can tell that the author was feeding you a lot of bull-**** and preaching their own biased crap , knowing that there was no easy way for you to call him on his lies.
But now , you can spend 5 minutes online disproving half of what he wrote.
Or, in other, less cynical examples...it just seems like something weird is missing when you read a book from 1992, even though it was just a couple years before the internet.
DO you know what i mean?
