Open Question: Should I become a... ?

French, an English or a Franco-English writer?I'm bilingual and an inspiring writer.French is my mother tongue, I wrote beautifully with nice stylistic figures in French. When it comes to English, I can come up with nice stories but it's quiet complicated when people don't get what I mean with my metaphors.I do write well in English but I'm not ready yet to write excellent fiction in that language. So I was Wonder ring if I should keep writing in English till I get better? or should I stick to my French writing and never developed the opportunity to express my muse in a different language? Or, should I mix French and English in my writing? I must admit that the last option looks Very appealing to me. I once combined the two languages in a short story and some people said they like my style. If I combine 2 languages in my writing, it will be for bilingual people and for students who are learning either English or French. I didn't want to adopt the English language only even though I am leaving in an English speaking country now because I was afraid that by abandoning French, I would estranged myself from my culture. But now I am a multicultural person and I embraced both the French and the American culture equally so what do you guys think?

I also have to take in mine that I will have more people to buy my books (hopefully) if they are in English because I am in an English speaking country and I might be easier to find an editor. Otherwise I would have to do some outrageous advertising campaign to reach Franco-English people outside and inside the US to buy my books.
Any idea?
